I recently attended the Red Cedar Award Gala in my hometown of Vancouver, B.C.
I had a great time listening to kids read their persuasive essays for the nominated books! The skits were very entertaining and the artwork was delightful, but what impressed me the most was how enthusiastic and amazing the kids were in front of a microphone and an audience of 150+!
